As a successful internet marketing company, our focus here at SEOJames is usually on providing highly effective SEO services to each and every one of our clients. As you may know, the offices of our SEO agency are in sunny Boca Raton, Florida, however, so when a new report from WalletHub came out stating that Florida is the best state for singles, we had to investigate.
It’s not surprising that WalletHub’s thoughts have turned to romance this time of year. Valentine’s Day is just around the corner.
Online marketing campaigns and ads running on TV this time of year might make you feel like you must find your special someone pronto, but if you’re single, don’t worry – you’re in good company. According to the personal-finance website, about 45 percent of all U.S. adults are unattached. Feel free to buy yourself some chocolate and enjoy the day!
If you are hoping to change your single status, however, you might want to take note of the findings in WalletHub’s report on 2019’s Best & Worst States for Singles, which has proclaimed Florida as the best state in the nation for singles.
When you start drilling down into the report, however, things don’t look quite as sunny in the Sunshine State. Here’s how Florida ranked on some of WalletHub’s key indicators of what they call “dating-friendliness:”
Dating in Florida (1=Best; 25=Avg.):
- 8th – % of Single Adults
- 11th – Gender Balance of Singles
- 21st – Online-Dating Opportunities
- 28th – Mobile-Dating Opportunities
- 1st – Restaurants per Capita
- 8th – Movie Theaters per Capita
Florida did score well on Dating Opportunities, coming in at #3. When it came to Dating Economics, however, South Dakota blew us out of the water. They grabbed the top spot and Florida came in 34th. (New York was in last place, in case you’re wondering.)
If you’re looking for love as Valentine’s Day rolls around, you have our very best wishes. And, if you’re searching for an SEO company that can help you make a meaningful connection with your audience, we hope you’ll consider SEOJames.
