For now, we are talking about drilling down into SEO data to determine what kind of candy Americans prefer for Valentine’s Day. We were too busy providing highly effective SEO services for the clients we love to take the time to research candy buying trends but, apparently, the folks at Zippia had a little more time on their hands.
Searching for Valentine Candy Online
“Using Google Trends, we determined what Valentine’s Day candy each state eats a disproportionate amount of. We defined Valentine’s Day candy as candies that peaked in search volume for the big day. From there, we determined what candy is searched a disproportionately, high amount in each state,” the folks at Zippia said of how they went about determining what kind of candy we like to give and get for Valentine’s Day.
They determined that chocolate covered strawberries are the most popular Valentine’s day candy. Now, you may disagree with us, but as far as we are concerned here at SEOJames, chocolate-covered strawberries are not candy.
